Biometric passkey setup fix

Fixed biometric/passkey setup by validating Supabase passkey configuration, WebAuthn support, active session handling, and improved passkey registration/sign-in error handling.

  • Passkey setup now uses the Supabase passkey registration flow that triggers the browser or OS prompt.
  • Registration saves the local biometric flag only after a successful passkey setup.
  • Setup and sign-in now show clearer messages for session, HTTPS, browser support, Supabase, and origin issues.

Mobile and installed-app biometric sign-in refinement

Updated biometric/passkey sign-in so it is opt-in from Security settings, hidden in normal desktop browser tabs, and shown only on enabled mobile/tablet devices or installed app windows with a safe fallback sign-in option.

  • Desktop browsers now show the normal email/password sign-in form only.
  • Mobile, tablet, and installed app users can enable or disable biometric sign-in from Profile > Security.
  • Enabled eligible devices show biometric sign-in first, with a minimal Use another sign-in method link.
